LISTs: FEES AND NO FEES

 ********************************************************************

NOTE THAT  BECAUSE BLOGS ARE ARRANGED BY DATE, TO KEEP SOME POSTS AT THE TOP OF MY BLOG, I'VE CREATED ARTIFICIAL FUTURE DATES.  IGNORE THEM. All 2011/12 dates reflect the actual date of the post.

THIS POST OF RESORT FEE LISTS LAST EDITED February, 2012
SCROLLING DOWN A FEW POSTS THE DATES OF POSTING ARE REAL.
BELOW ARE LISTED SITES THAT ATTEMPT TO COLLECT AND LIST RESORT FEES AND AMENITIES
**********************************************************************
1.This list has been continuously updated.  It includes a mention of the amount after taxes.
http://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/showthread.php?p=441981
I use it as my first reference and I generally do not need another.

2.  Interesting color coded chart on this site gives a quick way to look at amenities.  I think the tax information needs to be added.  If the resort fee is taxed, the math is different.  Always check any information with a call to a casino reservations clerk to insure accuracy.

3.  Some casinos will not be listed  in the site below because they can't be booked here. Like Gold Spike. This site lacks notice of when there is taxation of the fee itself.  Most resort fees do incur taxes.  So in general, add $1.20 per $10 resort fee. A fee quoted as $10 is really $11.20.  One quoted as $20 is really $22.40. Or use one of the other lists that tries to include that information.

I just called Hard Rock and their resort fees are $15 a day, which includes parking, shuttle to strip, internet, etc.

Thanks for the time your took posting this. Tough news. They must figure that most people just don't pay attention.;

I also maintain a list of Vegas resort fees. I constantly update it, so it should be up to date.

Thanks, Toivo. I added your list. When I last saw it it was not as updated as it is now. Add in the Gold Spike.
Also, in my opinion no list is compete if it just covers casinos and ignores places like Rumor Suites. They do not have slot machines, but their position is across from the Hard Rock.
There must be more hotels like this with fees.
Also, this 4 Queens optional parking fee may confuse some readers. It did when LVA included it. It is not a resort fee. It is not mandatory. It is a paid amenity charged only if you use it. 4 Queens guests pay no resort fee.
